“Emergency” snacks for different situations
You stay at your place and unexpectedly hear a ring at the door-bell. You are a bit surprised as you don’t expect anyone. You open the door and you see colleagues that apparently make up their mind to pay you an unannounced visit. You haven’t seen your friends for a while so you are pleased they are here. But at the same time, you desperately attempt to think of anything you could treat your guest with. You are sure you don’t possess all ingredients to cook something nice to eat right now.

And what is even more relevant – you don’t have much time as guests are already here. Certainly, they cannot expect you to be ready for an unexpected visit. On the contrary, it would be so much nicer to offer something tasty to eat.

I am convinced you know this scene. I have had such situation many times previously. And I decided to do anything about it.
Nevertheless, there was always one huge issue about having “emergency” snacks – snack pellet – check it. I have 2 sons so they always eat snacks right away after I buy them. I was trying to hide them for a moment but all parents are aware how laughable it is and that teenagers always manage to find snacks anyway. It doesn’t matter where you put them. Subsequently, when unannounced guests show up, I still had nothing to offer to my guests.

Last month my colleague has visited. When we were having a hot drink, I was trying to locate earlier hidden sweets. Initially she laughed at me but then she shared with me an excellent concept I hadn’t considered previously. She told me about snackpellet. Why was that so great for me? Because they are semi-finished snacks. I store it in my kitchen and I can be sure that it is still there when needed – when unannounced guests show up. My children don’t consume them right after I buy it, as it was with other snacks previously. Why? If they want to have snack pellet, they have to cook it first – read about snackpellet.

And my children just don’t cook if they don’t have to. They are always happy to eat ready snacks, but if they must prepare them on their own – they are not so eager anymore. For me this is also superior – thanks to the fact that I have to cook snack pellet before serving it to my guests, I can offer them not only fresh but also hot snack. Furthermore, it takes me not more than a few minutes to prepare!
